The New England Miniature Horse Society is a friendly club for Miniature Horse enthusiasts. The club promotes several shows each year featuring a full complement of classes for youth and adults at all levels of experience, including those with special needs. Beginners are encouraged through our unique Novice level classes as well as our annual Novice Clinic and special Amateur/Novice Show to kick off the season.

The NEMHS is an American Miniature Horse Association (AMHA) approved club. All of our shows are conducted under the rules and regulations of the AMHA. Members compete for NEMHS Year-End Awards and can of course qualify for the AMHA Regional and World Championship shows.

NEMHS members also promote the Miniature Horse with breed demonstrations at various events around the region, such as the 2nd Company Governor’s Horse Guard Horse Show in Newtown, CT. The NEMHS has a booth and breed demonstration at the Equine Affaire in West Springfield, MA every Fall.
