Considering the group size, face masks, and social distancing that will still be in effect to some extent in July. Also, the fact that there are no registry requirements to qualify for Worlds or Nationals, the Board has decided to cancel the July show in Rhode Island.
We have also decided that we will hold the August show at Apple Knoll but as a Non-Rated Show.
The class list will be customized to the needs of the membership. The classes for this show will reflect the AMHA and AMHR classes along with other classes the membership suggests. So, if anyone would like specific classes please reply by Friday, June 12th, and contact Laurie Slobody, LaurieSlobody333@aol.com.
The intent for this show being non-rated is to save money and while offering an opportunity to get in the ring prior to Worlds and Nationals.
We will not be obligated to Registry fees, hotel expenses, and staffing expenses while offering a reasonable show class fee. Lisa G. is volunteering to manage the show free of charge and with private donations to help offset the Apple Knoll expense the club should make some money.
The Show Committee still has to work out the details of the show including the possibility of this show being the club championship show for 2020. We believe it is a great opportunity to get back in the show ring without losing money and hopefully, we will not have many restrictions or have the need to cancel due to a resurgence in Covid-19.

The August show will be Non-rated.
